Aaron Smith

Aaron graduated from The School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College in Evanston, IL.

 

His experience has come from three and four star restaurants in the Chicago area where he learned to perfect his art.

 

Concept and Philosophy

As a destination restaurant, Bistro Rio offers the guests a fine dining experience in a comfortable setting. We offer fine wine paired with superb food and attentive service.
 
Bistro Rio uses the freshest fruits and vegetables from local farmers to bring the seasons best offerings to your plate. We combine that philosophy with globally and locally-produced wine. Our service staff is attentive and gracious.
History and Architecture

Bistro Rio is located in a 19th century building rehabilitated by local Amish craftsmen in 1998.
The building is located on the beautiful St. Joseph River, where almost all dining seats have a view of the river and the grounds. There are also two outside patios overlooking the river available in the summer months. Bistro Rio's interior features local artwork in an intimate and cozy setting.
